Forest of Imagination – Wokingham

The award-winning Forest of Imagination has spread its wings to a new borough for the first time.

Wokingham Borough’s Forest of Imagination 2025 is bringing a celebration of nature-themed art and cultural experiences to a broad mix of people.

The unique and engaging festival, which is now over 10 years old, transforms public spaces into creative landscapes. It inspires people to explore environmental issues through creativity and artistic expression with a series of magical installations and events – bringing together local schools and community organisations.

The festival offers a series of interactive events and performances including spoken word, immersive story worlds, ecological storytelling, drawing sessions with well-known illustrators and nature inspired craft workshops.

It culminates in a four-day showcase at Dinton Pastures Country Park from 22-25 May, featuring an array of sensory installations that we and other artists have worked on together with local schools and community groups.

Participatory activities, performances and digital experiences are also available for visitors to interact with and strengthen their connection to nature.

Working collaboratively with Wokingham Borough Council, Dr. Penny Hay Professor of Imagination, Bath Spa University and House of Imagination, Grant Associates is proud to be a co-curator and lead artist on the project.
