Oana Anghelache

Oana trained as an Architect but rapidly became passionate about using code to create geometry, always looking for ways to integrate new fabrication methods and new technologies into her work. So her career path flowed into computational design, becoming specialised in non-standard, interactive design. The process of distorting spaces and creating emotions through interactive design is the daily motivation behind her work, and has led to exhibits in the Netherlands, Spain and UK.

Oana joined Grant Associates as 3D Architect/Computational Designer in 2019, having previously worked in London and in Amsterdam. She has designed high-end, bespoke elements for retail and residential projects in London, US and China, and has worked on large-scale infrastructure projects, such as the on-going ring of Antwerp (Belgium). Her experience and skills are particularly useful in designing complex structures and realising the full potential of the projects through her unique ability to interpret the conceptual approach whilst aligning it with technical vigor.
