Kevin Foo

Kevin has been in the field of landscape architecture and urban design for almost 10 years. Throughout his career, he is involved in various Asian projects at different scales, including an airport masterplan, resort masterplan, cultural and tourism master plan, township regeneration, commercial and residential landscape design, as well as an indoor forest project.

Kevin regards his favourite designer Jan Gehl’s quote as his design philosophy - “cultures and climates differ all over the world, but people are the same. They’ll gather in public if you give them a good place to do it.” He seeks to design creative and meaningful spaces for the local people through understanding the social aspect and taking cues from their culture. As the spaces evolve with time, they will be capable of reminding the people of their fond memories while creating new memories for the generations to come.

Since joining Grant associates in 2022, Kevin has been a key member of a residential master planning project in Kigali, Africa. This pilot project is poised to bring about positive changes to the local community and becoming a role model for Africa’s future residential developments.
