Jade Chin

Jade has obtained her Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

Jade joined Grant Associates in 2019 following the completion of her degree and working with Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl, Singapore, for 4 years.

Through the years, Jade has participated in collective projects that focus on Water

Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD). She explores the dynamism of WSUD features that is applicable to projects of varying scales – from waterfront promenade to national park re-development. With that, she has gained valuable experience in the holistic design process from conceptual design to the completion of construction, enabling her to seek for critical design solutions in detail development.

Jade has always been fascinated by the complex relationship presented in the landscape construct, including materiality & natural phenomena which impacts the spontaneity behaviour of users in public spaces. The journey of continuous practicing would allow her to explore & investigate the impact of materiality and users’ behaviour through each project.
