Chin-Jung ChenMArch Dip LA CMLI
Originally trained as an architect, Chin joined Grant Associates in January 2006 after graduating from The Bartlett University College London and went on to study Landscape Architecture at Kingston University to consolidate her professional career. She has wide experience in public realm projects from conceptual design through to construction, across the UK and Asia.
Projects include the design and implementation of the award-winning mixed-use Bristol Harbourside development; the Themed Gardens at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and the detailed design of a mix-used commercial development in Shenzhen, China.
Chin is especially interested in the creation of playful experiences that combine Architecture and Landscape Architecture and working with different disciplines. She has participated in several competitions which includes winning competitions like Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester and Bird Island in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2021, Chin and director Peter Chmiel won a Gold Medal and Best in Show for the "Guangzhou Garden" at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
