RIBA Lubetkin Prize 2013 goes to Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay Cooled Conservatories, master planned and designed by Grant Associates and Wilkinson Eyre, have won the RIBA Lubetkin Prize for Best International New Building 2013.
Described by the judges as 'an outstanding example of sustainability in action', the Cooled Conservatories beat off competition from Via Verde pharmacy review http://rxreviewz.com/, a highly sustainable and affordable housing development in New York City and Zaha Hadid's Galaxy Soho, a new shopping and office complex rising from a lower ground public space in central Beijing.
Park Hill, Sheffield by Hawkins Brown with landscape architecture from Grant Associates was also shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize, which recognises the best new building of the year, constructed in the European Union and designed in the UK.
