Grant Associates to present keynote talk at Bristol Zoological Society Conservation Lecture

Andrew Grant, director and founder of landscape architect Grant Associates, is to give a talk exploring how to incorporate nature into future cities at an event organised by the Bristol Zoological Society (BZS).

Andrew’s presentation ‘Beasts and Senses: Designing natural wonder into future cities’ is the keynote talk at Bristol Zoological Society’s Conservation Lecture, which takes place at 6pm on 5th December 2017 at BZS’s Conservation Education Centre, Clifton, Bristol.

In his presentation, Andrew will explore the opportunities for optimising the sense and experience of nature in cities. He will argue the case for high impact, biodiverse interventions highlighting the benefits to our wellbeing as well as helping to meet challenges like climate change.

Andrew will draw on his extensive landscape design experience, touching on Grant Associates’ projects, including Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, and a range of other international examples to discuss the future connections of humans and nature in the built environment.

Tickets are priced at £6.50 and funds raised will go towards the BZS's Alumni Fund which provides an annual award for a distinguished alumni of our Higher Education Provision, supporting wildlife conservation research.
