Grant Associates designs sanctuary landscape for luxury residential development in Gurugram, India

Grant Associates has unveiled the landscape design for Gaia Residences & Amstoria Verti-Greens, a new luxury residential development by BPTP in Gurugram, India, setting a new benchmark for wellness-led, biophilic living along the Dwarka Expressway.

BPTP Amstoria Verti Greens Landscape and Amenties

Spread across 12 acres, Gaia Residences & Amstoria Verti-Greens comprises a series of 45-storey residential towers designed by DPA Singapore, arranged around a lush central garden sanctuary. The landscape has been conceived as the heart of the development — a verdant, immersive oasis designed to promote wellbeing, community and biodiversity within a busy urban setting.

Grant Associates’ concept transforms the ground plane into a sequence of interconnected garden experiences, blending hospitality-style amenities with nature-rich spaces for relaxation, socialising and active lifestyles. Pools, spa gardens, water features, shaded trails and an event lawn are woven through a biodiverse woodland framework, creating a calm, restorative environment that flows seamlessly around and through the buildings.

The landscape design is rooted in a strong biophilic narrative, focused on reconnecting residents with nature through planting, water and sensory experience. Scented walks, forest gardens, yoga and meditation spaces, play areas and outdoor sports facilities are carefully layered to support mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout the day and across seasons.

Extending vertically, the landscape continues onto sky terraces and amenity balconies, reinforcing the idea of an “oasis in the sky” and maximising views across the gardens and the wider city. Private club facilities are provided in lush, planted pavilions set within the gardens providing sports, recreational and banqueting amenities as well as garden terraces for relaxation. Rainwater harvesting, urban greening and climate-responsive planting strategies underpin the project’s sustainability ambitions, contributing to improved microclimate and long-term ecological value.

The principal architectural design is led by DPA Singapore, with the landscape acting as the unifying element that shapes the identity and everyday experience of the development.

Gaia Residences & Amstoria Verti-Greens presented an opportunity to create far more than a residential landscape. We envisioned a living sanctuary — a place of refuge within the city where nature, wellness and community come together. The gardens are designed as a sequence of immersive experiences that support biodiversity while enriching daily life, redefining what luxury urban living can feel like.
