Oliver McIlvenna BA (Hons), Dip LA, CMLI

Associate

Studied Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of Sheffield 2002 – 2006

Oliver joined the Grant Associates team in 2013, following 7 years experience working on a variety of urban landscape and masterplan regeneration schemes, including the Athletes Village for the London 2012 Olympics. His work ranges from conceptual design through to construction, with particular experience in planning delivery. He was responsible for the Wembley Stadium landscape strategy in London with Make Architects, a 160,000 sqm mixed use development across 5.71 hectares. The scheme received the Landscape Institute `Commended` award for the Urban Design and Masterplanning category in November 2011. Oliver enjoys the communication and collaborative aspects of the design process, as this enriches projects and encourages innovation. In all his work he looks to find the unique social underlining to each project, using both historical reference and future needs to develop the design and influence user experience.
