Studied Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University, 1988-1993

Andrew joined Grant Associates in 2000. He has worked on a variety of projects since joining the practice, including a major mixed-use harbourside development in Bristol (Project Landscape Architect); Rolls Royce Assembly Plant, Chichester; Olympic Velopark; new student housing at the University of Bath; a new Sports Academy and Park project in Scunthorpe; a listed flax Mill in Shrewsbury; and two schools in Camden under the Government’s Building Schools for the Future programme. More recently Andrew has been working on a major new masterplan for a mixed-use development in the Elephant and Castle, Southwark.

Prior to joining Grant Associates, Andrew spent two years in New Zealand working on ecological design, implementation and management projects, including landscape restoration and habitat creation.

Andrew is particularly interested in the creative and collaborative design process with architects and artists and enjoys the technical challenges presented throughout the design process.
