Steiner Academy

The Steiner Academy, Hereford is the UK’s first Academy offering Steiner education – a distinctive education which enables children to experience childhood fully whilst becoming responsible, considerate, free-thinking individuals.

Grant Associates worked on the masterplan for the Academy, helping create a rich matrix of activity and use across the site that provides for landwork crafts, sports activity and play whilst still allowing for the freedom of exploration and places for nature.

The school site is integrated into its sensitive setting, with water circulation, wildlife networks, pedestrian circulation and spiritual connections that create a rich experience around the site, from arrival in the car park to the main school spaces.
