Tamasine joined Grant Associates in 2003. She has been the project landscape architect for a variety of large and small projects, from Cooled Conservatories and University Campuses in Singapore to Secondary Schools in the UK and Urban Parks in Spain. Her professional experience spans from conceptual design through to construction, with playful idea development, innovative communication techniques and refined detail design.
Projects include the award winning Institute of Technical Education College Central and Headquarters, Singapore; The Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore; the design and implementation of Harton Quays Park in South Shields, UK; the design and masterplan for the Tun Razak Exchange in Kuala Lumpur; and the design and implementation of the Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre, Cheshire.
Tamasine is co-author of the 2015 CIRIA SuDS Manual; the most comprehensive SuDS guidance available in the UK.
Within all her projects Tamasine enjoys using the elements and processes that form our environment to enrich experience, from the delicacies and beauty of habitats to the colours and forms that affect our lives. How people experience the spaces and what they learn from them is a constant interest and the personal motivation behind the design process.
