Scarlett is enthusiastic about pushing the limits of design and helping to create great spaces. She is particularly interested in the relationship between people and the environment, their interdependency and the benefits that Landscape Architecture can offer communities. Scarlett is also fascinated with play and how play can be integrated into the landscape to offer playful opportunities for all ages.

Recent projects include the development of several Dementia Friendly Residential Care homes; the environmentally sensitive transformation of a disused Quarry in Somerset and the masterplanning of a new Hospital for Birmingham with Edward Williams Architects.

Her strengths lie in creative planting design and the refinement of conceptual strategies into considered landscapes, these are brought to life with a keen eye for detail and a distinctive graphic style.
