Landscape Architect

Studied Landscape Architecture at North Carolina State University, 2012-2013, Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, 2008-2011, and Geography at Dundee University 2004-2008

Ronan joined Grant Associates in 2013 having studied for a Masters in landscape architecture at Edinburgh University and North Carolina State University. Prior to this he gained a BA in Geography at Dundee University.

Before joining Grants, Ronan won the Landscape Institutes Future Vision award, gaining a placement at the Eden Project. In 2011 he represented the Royal Horticultural Society on their annual Interchange Scholarship to the USA, where he researched and taught at North Carolina State University. He was also part of the universities award winning urban design team in Americas 2013 student Urban Land Institute competition. He has undertaken a range of freelance projects, including conceptual designs for the Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower shows.

Ronan is passionate about conceptual design, improving the relationship between landscape research and design and adapting the use of continually evolving technology to better equip landscape architects.
