Catherine Lake BLarch

Landscape Architect

Studied Landscape Architecture at the University of New South Wales.

Catherine joined Grant Associates in December 2016 after gaining experience at a Landscape Architecture and Ecology practice in Cardiff. Here she was involved in a variety of projects around Wales, England and Northern Ireland and covered a range of sectors including residential, health and renewables.

During her studies, Catherine’s project for a new airport landscape in Sydney’s west was shortlisted for the Hassell Travelling Scholarship Robin Edmond Prize. Her project looked to utilise the opportunities created by dramatic topographic changes to playfully re-imagine an airport landscape and mitigate the visual impact of homogenising complex terrain.
