Landscape Architect

Studied Master of Landscape Architecture at University of Edinburgh, 2014-2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Bandung Institute of Technology, 2008-2013

Besty joined the practice in 2016 after completing her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh. During her studies she gained internship experience in landscape architecture in London.

Besty is passionate about the creative process of landscape design and urban regeneration as they relate to sustainability. She is also interested in the relationship between landscape and human interaction to create a functional and vibrant landscapes. She enjoys creating distinctive places that use a contextual approach and create opportunities for the area to be a better and well-designed environment. This approach was informed by her master thesis which focused on remediation process of post-industrial landscape in Belgium.

Besty is interested in using advanced technology and parametric design, as well as balancing it with ecological strategy specific to the site, to create a distinguished and captivating place.

Besty is currently working from our Singapore office.
